Assistant Payroll and Accounts

To assist payroll and accounts and expand in-house accounts processes.

  • Assisting with collating worker hours and timesheets 
  • To support the front office payroll process from start to finish including; sending timesheets, chasing timesheets, identifying inaccuracies and submitting in line with company deadlines using a CRM system and sage 50 payroll and accounts. 
  • Resolving queries with timesheets and invoices 
  • Scanning purchase invoices onto document management system 
  • To meet and greet clients and candidates 
  • Supplier statement reconciliation 
  • To be the first port of call for pay queries 
  • Assisting with full payroll runs. 
  • Answering of phones 
  • Filing, photocopying and scanning 
  • Dealing with queries and ensuring they are directed to the correct individuals 
  • Assist with employee expenses processing 
  • Aiding credit control processes and requirements 
  • Purchase ledger processing ,coding and matching using Sage ERP  
Candidate profile 
  • Excellent telephone manner, confident and comfortable on the phone 
  • Able to follow instructions diligently 
  • Dependable and hard working

  • Ability to work under pressure and to deal with high volumes of work

The details

Salary: £12,000 – £16,000 / annually

Hours: 37.5 hrs, Monday to Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 AM

Location: 1-3 Bath Hill, Keynsham, Bristol, BS31 1DE
