HR Support Apprentice

To provide a professional administrative support service to assist in the smooth running of the People function, including HR, office and facilities related activities.
Key Accountabilities
HR Support
  • Completing various HR administrative tasks including those relating to recruitment, onboarding and L&D
  • Ensuring all personnel files are accurate and up to date
  • Assisting with HR audits
  • Updating the HR software as required
  • Assisting in the planning of small and large company events
  • Making external bookings for events and training courses
  • Communicating with internal and external contacts in a professional and customer centric manner
  • Coordinating HR wellbeing and engagement activities including fruit at work
  • Completing ad hoc tasks as requested
Office Support
Providing office support to the Department and the wider business
  • Supporting the People, Culture & Values Team in a variety of admin tasks relating to the smooth running of the people function
  • Greeting visitors to the premises, presenting a professional image of CBS at all times
  • Responding to internal and external telephone calls in line with CBS standards, dealing with queries in a customer centric manner
  • Collecting, sorting, distributing and franking post on a daily basis
  • Ordering supplies and equipment from preferred suppliers and ensure tidiness of stationery cupboard
  • Booking travel and accommodation for colleagues
  • Arranging meetings and booking rooms, refreshments and car park spaces as required
  • Updating internal systems and keeping accurate records
  • Carrying out various administrative tasks including filing, sending and responding to emails, typing of documents and data input
  • Completing ad hoc tasks as requested
