AVADO welcomes Matt Hancock MP to Imperial College’s White City Campus
Last week AVADO and Arch Apprentices had the pleasure of welcoming the Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP — Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport — to our new offices, along with Leader of the LBHF Council Stephen Cowan.
|During the visit our guests were shown around our new home at Imperial’s I-Hub building, where they met with AVADO CEO Mark O’Donoghue and Arch Chief Executive Jason Moss to discuss the move and the future of the businesses.|
They also met with Professor David Gann CBE, Vice-President of Imperial College London to learn about the future plans for their White City Campus. AVADO and Arch are proud to be some of the first businesses welcomed into this exciting new development, but the I-Hub building is only the beginning! The newly announced Scale Space will house many other Blenheim Chalcot backed businesses, which currently include Agilisys, ClearScore, SalaryFinance, Fospha and Modulr.
Commenting on the Imperial White City Campus, Matt Hancock said: “This ambitious project will help cement London’s position as Europe’s tech capital and is another vote of confidence in our world-leading digital economy.”
“We’re determined to make the UK the best place to start and grow a digital business, so it’s fantastic to see these two established institutions coming together to help the next generation of innovative talent flourish.”
Professor David Gann commented: “We are delighted to announce our shared ambition with Blenheim Chalcot to create Scale Space.”
“White City is a crucible for innovation and creativity, attracting the best talent and businesses. Scale Space is a fantastic addition to the growth of White City campus, providing tangible evidence of Imperial’s ambition and intent to create prosperity from deep science.”
