What you’ll be doing as our HR Assistant:

·         Writing and amending contracts

·         Completing exit interviews

·         Writing letters to employees confirming promotions and other contractual changes

·         Completing compliance checks

·         Supporting induction programmes and onboarding for new employees

·         Supporting with the off-boarding of leavers

·         Organising meetings and managing databases

·         Supporting with the compliance of GDPR and other data protection laws

·         Support with organising company events including socials and conferences

·         Ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures

·         Using a range of software packages

·         Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to HR

·         Maintain the upkeep of the HR Information System by ensuring employee data is entered and correct

·         Write and submit reports on general HR activities

·         Supporting on disciplinary matters when required

·         Note taking in HR meetings

·         Responding to ex-employee reference requests

·         Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency

 

Desired Skills / Experience:

·         Previous experience of HR administration

·         Previous experience in supporting with administrative duties

·         Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices

·         Strong organisational skills

·         Discretion

·         Adaptability

·         Negotiation and relationship-building skills

·         Impeccable written and verbal communication skills

·         IT skills

·         Problem solving skills and initiative

·         Attention to detail
