The impact you will have

As our Sales Development Representative (SDR) you will play a key role in linking marketing and sales to support top-of-funnel (ToFu) sales activity so that Elliptic can achieve its revenue goals. You will be converting marketing leads to qualified prospects directly impacting the success of our sales team. You’ll champion Elliptic’s offering in the market to proactively educate and engage prospective customers.

Your day-to-day would involve

  • Outbound sales prospecting to gather account intelligence and set appointments for the sales team
  • Contacting prospects by phone, email, and online platforms such as LinkedIn to educate, engage, and qualify high-value sales leads
  • Capturing accurate and clear records for all activity and clearly communicating findings on prospective customers to sales
  • Supporting the sales team on doing account research and mapping
  • Responsible for delivering sales qualified leads against team and individual targets
  • Following up on marketing-generated leads in a timely manner
  • Ownership for outbound calling campaigns synched with marketing campaigns or sales account targeting needs

Requirements

You will be a great fit here if you are

  • Highly organized and methodical but have the intuition to be agile when new sales intel or needs unfold
  • Can exercise poise and professionalism when under pressure
  • Can successfully collaborate and work with a variety of stakeholders
  • Love a challenge and working in a constantly changing fast-paced environment

Our ideal candidate has

  • 1-2 years successful experience in a customer facing role, ideally in a B2B and/or SaaS environment OR is a recent graduate with customer facing work experience
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or a customer database
  • A confident phone presence and written communication skills

Bonus points for

  • Proven success as a Sales Development Representative
  • Experience with G-Suite and other sales and marketing technology liked LinkedIn
  • Additional spoken languages
