The Instrumental music scouting platform works as a connector between the music industry and emerging artists. The platform is at the forefront of data-driven online scouting, monitoring billions of data points each day, to deliver real-time intelligence on emerging artists to A&R and talent scouting teams in the music and entertainment industry.

The Instrumental subscription platform is currently tracking over 460,000 artists and 5,080,000 Spotify tracks, and works by highlighting artist momentum through dynamic audience reach data. Instrumental is the leading data-driven music scouting platform, counting all three majors, a range of leading independent labels and entertainment industry heavyweights like Live Nation among its customer base.

Instrumental are expanding their label licensing team and looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join in a supporting role to two Sales Managers. The licensing team approach artists daily to sign tracks identified through Instrumental’s data platform for distribution by frtyfve and to feature in the company’s fast growing playlist network. The SDR role will involve the qualification of new prospects including:

  • Checking daily streaming levels for tracks on Spotify
  • Gathering social media handles and account information
  • Gathering contact details for artists
  • Updating Instrumental’s artist profiles with the new information
  • Adding new prospects into our HubSpot CRM
  • Initiating sales sequences via email

The ideal candidate for this role will have an ambition to build a career in sales, be interested in the music industry and familiar with streaming platforms especially Spotify.
