Role Purpose

The HR Assistant provides generalist HR support to the HR teams in the UK offices to enable the smooth running of the local HR team and associated processes. This is a varied role which will provide an excellent start to a career in HR through interacting with a wide range of stakeholders and delivering excellent administrative services.

Key Accountabilities

  • Become a super user of myHR to understand and maintain HR records and provide fit for purpose reporting, in conjunction with HR Administrators and data reporting team in order to deliver excellent service for employees and managers
  • Provide solutions, advice and support to employees and managers in all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Support a range of generalist HR activities, and working in conjunction with the HR Administrators as required, to enable the smooth running of the local HR team and associated processes
  • Be the point person for the HR office through co-ordinating office filing, scanning and archiving, desk moves and domestic and international HR visitors
  • Check data, gather information and manage basic reporting, for example ownership of new starter paperwork, identity checks and data entry to ensure accurate record-keeping for the UK office
  • Keep abreast of UK employment law changes, and ensuring that the UK HR administrative processes comply with the latest legislation
  • Provide project support for key strategic initiatives in the UK office

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Service-orientated mindset and good communication skills through a range of media (phone, email, face-to face)
  • Ability to identify improvements to processes and make recommendations to the team
  • Ability to build trust and relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Skilled at data entry and confident in using computer systems
