Supporting across Retail, Pharmacy and our Distribution Centres, this role plays a key part in the delivery of an effective stocktake programme through the collation and review of audit reports and providing subsequent reporting to our audit teams. This ensures our business remains safe and compliant and availability remains high meaning our customers can find the products they love, every time they shop.

•    Input events and training into learning management system
•    Coordinate with suppliers on training logistics and events planning
•    Book rooms, order catering and set up rooms for training and diversity sessions
•    Run reports and collate data for internal and external purposes
•    Create data packs for leaders
•    Produce statements of work and process invoices
•    Keep HR intranet pages up to date
•    Support diversity networks with planning events
•    Respond to emails from employees in Learning and Development inbox
•    Work on ad hoc HR projects

Key Responsibilities

  • To collate all audit reports (store, pharmacy, and DC) that have been completed by the Retail Audit Team and to provide any required reporting in relation to the collation of the audit programmes
  • Collating and checking completed audits and resolving any issues found
  • Transferring the clean data accurately over to various collation sheets
  • Producing weekly reports from the collation sheets for the company and management
  • Supplying focused reports and analysis both weekly and monthly for specific stakeholders including HR, RGM’s, Finance and the Risk team
  • Creating presentations on the audit data for various meetings like area meetings, retail board and Shrinkage meetings

To support the Audit and Stocktake Analyst with the day to day running and management of the company stocktaking programmes (both store and pharmacy) by:

  • To collate all audit reports (store, pharmacy, and DC) that have been completed by the Retail Audit Team and to provide any required reporting in relation to the collation of the audit programmes
  • Booking and amending stock take dates and communicating such arrangements to the External stocktaking agency/stores/pharmacies
  • Coordinating any required delivery cancellations in relation to stock take dates following weekly review of delivery schedule data and communicating with store and distribution colleagues on such arrangements for Superdrug and Savers
  • Advising Field/HO and stores teams on queries relating to audit completion, stock takes and stocktaking reports
  • Supporting the Audit and Stocktake Analyst /DC and Stock Auditor with the production of stock take and QC reporting for further review and analysis by the retail and DC audit team
  • Assist the Retail Audit team with any ad hoc reporting or project work as required
  • Deputise for Audit and Stocktake Analyst in their absence.

 

You will work through a programme of learning with the support of the team and your training provider over an 18-24 month period. You will get exposure to the workings of a thriving office and be a crucial part of the Audit team, ensuring all tasks are carried out to a high standard.
On completion you will have;

  • A Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification
  • Increased confidence communicating with people at all levels
  •  Improved knowledge of the workings of a busy retail audit department
  • A professional approach and the ability to stay calm under pressure

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Willingness to study to complete the Level 3 Apprenticeship within the timescales set out
  • Great communication skills across different levels
  • Enthusiastic, committed and show passion for the company and customer
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Have a good level of IT knowledge to include Excel and Word
  • Have a strong work ethic and flexible approach
  •  Have the ability to work within a close team
  • Are dedicated to achieving your qualification
