Team Overview:
Digital Execution is the overarching team of digital practitioners within the Investment function of Hearts and Science UK. DXT, includes Biddable (Search and Social), Digital Investment (Managed and Programmatic Activation) and the AdOps Team. A multi-discipline team, aligned through the planning and activation of digital campaigns.

Role Overview:
As a Digital Activation Apprentice, you will be responsible for learning the full end to end planning and activation process by utilising online resources available and your colleagues for advice and guidance. You will work alongside the Digital Activation Analysts to support basic digital planning, target audience research, competitor analyses, pacing, reporting and finance. As well as the training you will receive through your apprenticeship, you are required to complete all basic digital training modules including; Facebook Blueprint, Twitter FlightSchool, Google Skillshop, and undertaking relevant certifications to aid you in your role.
As a Digital Activation Apprentice, you are expected to learn about Digital media channels, platforms and the fundamentals of ‘Biddable’, ‘Programmatic’ and ‘AdOps’ Understanding how advertising within digital experiences influences user behaviour.

Working across multiple clients your day to day will be to:

  • Create low-level media plans with the help of the Digital Activation Analyst
  • Compile regular reports for client campaigns, eventually writing commentary outlining learnings and recommendations
  • Complete the daily pacing document to ensure all campaigns are on track to spend in full
  • Carry out audience research for planning, to ensure we are targeting effectively. This includes creating keyword lists
  • Set-up of low-level campaigns across all channels, ensuring all set-ups are quality checked by a senior member of the team
  • Book campaigns onto Prisma and reconcile at the end of each month, with the help of seniors
  • Ensuring you are keeping up to date with the latest industry trends
  • Complete all training modules for relevant digital platforms
  • Other duties commensurate with the role as assigned by Digital Activation Manager,
