Brief overview of the role

The HR Apprentice provides support to colleagues on the site, HR Business Partners, Business Unit stakeholders and wider HR community.

Vacancy description

Responsible for HR Administration across the site including all processes for employee lifecycle, letters to colleagues for pay and disciplinaries, payroll, supporting low-level meetings, note-taking. Also looking at the engagement on site.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • All Starter, Change & Leaver processes
  • Ownership of data and information
  • Letters for colleagues
  • Minute taking at meetings and investigations
  • Development and implementation of HR process improvement initiatives
  • Development & maintenance of company policy, process maps, contractual documentation and Organisation charts
  • Colleague engagement

There is an opportunity to develop skills, get involved in projects, and support wider HR Community and business initiatives.

Desired skills
  • Resilient and can communicate with warehouse staff on site as well as key stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills
  • Able to work at pace and demonstrate flexibility
