The Role

Network Management encompasses designing the flying network, making the aircraft belly hold available for sale and setting the prices for over €1bn of freight.
Ensuring we have the best possible processes in place is essential for IAGC performance both operationally and commercially. Helping to define key data flows
and delivering key data driven insights into our processes. The role covers:-

Deriving insight from analysis of processes, utilising commercial data and current business processes to uncover opportunities for improvement.
Leading improvement efforts including process re-design and better use of data.
Subject matter expert for all data and data flows into and out of management tools.
 Working with RM, Operations and Sales to implement changes identified.
Identifying and creating key metrics and models to support and measure improvements to the network management processes.
Support the development of new network management processes to support strategic changes in the shape of the business.
 No responsibility for day to day RM or Pricing activities



• Understand current IAG Cargo network management capabilities (both system and processes)
• Help to identify opportunities to improve the capability either through system change or process improvement using insight from analysis of commercial data
• Support the design and support trials to prove value of improvements
• Contribute to new metrics and benefits tracking methods
• Working with other colleagues to test network management process changes


Person Specification


• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Strong communication, influencing and team working skills, excellent level of written/spoken English required
• Ability to source and analyse complex data using tools such as sql and Excel
• Experience with RM and Pricing tools
• Self- starter: able to work on own initiative, make decisions and implement them
• Organised and disciplined – able to manage delivery of multiple objectives
• Displays confidence and resilience, plus an energy to deliver results
• Ability to introduce new ways of thinking and an open mindedness to doing this differently.
• Driven to deliver on time, every time


• STEM subject A-level or equivalent experience
