Early last year, CIPD were seeking a partner to help them realise their ambition of globally accessible digital qualifications. They chose AVADO, based on our experience of building effective online learning and communities with partners like Google and the IOC.
Today, following the launch of a suite of online L&D and HR qualifications, our unique partnership has been recognised for innovation and collaboration by the panel of the Training Journal Awards. AVADO in partnership with CIPD has beenshortlisted for the Best Training Partnership 2016 Award, in a hotly contested category.
Andy Lancaster, Head of L&D content at CIPD commented on the news:
“This is a fitting tribute to the small brilliant L&D team at CIPD and AVADO that headed into the reality of no existing CIPD digital qualifications and who then showed creative thinking, dedication and a commitment to design and deliver excellent learning and student experience to bring the programmes to reality. It’s been one of the best projects and partnerships that I’ve worked on!”
Ralph La Fontaine, Managing Director for People & Talent at AVADO added:
“We are honoured to have been recognised by the Training Journal Awards panel in this category and our entry reflects just how strong our partnership with CIPD is. Key contributors from both organisations sat down together to create a compelling submission, mirroring the collaborative approach we apply to designing our courses together.”
The next stage of the Award judging will be a face to face presentation, after which the final decision will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony in December.
