Tell us about yourself

I lead a team of digital experts who collectively ensure real estate agents understand the power of reviews and their impact on driving inbound leads and securing new listings. Our website receives a review for one in every three properties sold across the country and is the best place for vendors to research and select the right agent to sell their homes.

Having recently listed on the ASX, we’re rapidly growing and are expanding into 2 new markets— the United States and New Zealand. We are also consolidating our foothold on the Australian market.

What made you decide to study Squared Online?

We’re all aware the digital landscape is constantly changing and as digital marketers, it can be tough to stay on top of things. Heading into the Squared Online course, I’d hoped to gain the skills to be able to embrace and harness these changes. As a team leader, I also wanted to develop the leadership skills necessary to survive and thrive as a digital expert.

What module did you find particularly useful?

We learnt how to use data and analytics to evaluate marketing efforts and generate insights in Module 4. Of course, I had to share this with my team! As a result, we were able to build out robust, informed buyer personas, allowing us to develop more targeted content. This resulted in greater audience engagement and higher conversion rates.

What did you enjoy the most about the programme?

I really enjoyed how the course taught us to collaborate and work on projects with diverse groups of people across time zones from different professional backgrounds and competing priorities.

Naturally, this pushed every one of us out of our comfort zones. That said, we learnt how to compromise and used our time wisely, which ultimately drove us to deliver better outcomes. 

How has studying Squared Online impacted the way you work?

Interestingly enough, this proved to be of huge benefit to my work. Soon after completing the course, we began expanding into new markets and this experience saw us working with remote teams— several skills that we had picked up during the course came into action sooner than expected.

Are you more confident in Digital Marketing now?

I was a little apprehensive at first. The words ‘digital marketing’ are inherently daunting as the practice itself is so vast and varied. That said, Squared Online gave me a refreshed, more well-rounded understanding of the digital landscape. It also gave me the leadership skills necessary to confidently drive disruption. I would recommend others to consider taking up this course if they would like to experience the same.
