Your new company

The client is one of the oldest and well-known chocolate manufactures in the world. To accelerate their growth in SEA they are currently recruiting a BDM.

Your new role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the growth of the brands (sales, turnover and profit) by creating a strong link and trust with its partners, distributors and customers.
Some of your key tasks will be:

  • Assessing the current distribution situation / market qualification and identify additional distribution potential in different channels
  • Route to market design, portfolio distribution and product launches
  • Develop the pricing strategy
  • Report / communicate on a monthly base local results (Sales, Turnover, Customer / Distributors meetings) and issue recommended action plans in order to hit company targets

 

What you’ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business-related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience in the field of business development (F&B preferred)
  • Experienced with living and/or working in South East Asia and familiar with its cultural environment
  • Strong client-oriented mindset
  • Not afraid to voice your own opinions
  • Relation builder (good social skills), networker, able to bring people to cooperate
