About the Client
The client is an European MNC with local presence. As they continue to develop in the local market, they are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to come on-board, design, introduce and make selection of items, conduct buying and the analysis of sell through rate.

Job Description
You will report to the Merchandising Director, your responsibility includes:

– Working with the Director on buying strategy and assortment

– Meeting with vendors for negotiations and partnership

– conducting month statistical analysis to review sales performance

– Ensure day to day buying activities to support operations and business objectives

– Selecting and deleting assortment

– Introducing ideas on diversifying the assortment to ensure long term sustainability and development

– Monitoring and driving cost and retail price changes

– Working with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations

The Successful Applicant
Successful candidate must have

– at least 3 years of merchandising experience in retail and FMCG to understand the job expectations

– self-driven and proactive

– creativity

– strong Excel V-look-up skills
