Avado focuses free learning on leadership post-lockdown
Nine free online learning courses across leadership & change management have been released helping people navigate challenging times
Avado, the professional academy, has today launched 36 hours of free online learning modules to support career development and help people upskill during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a time of uncertainty, the fully self-serve courses are geared towards helping people navigate the challenges they are likely facing around change management, managing remote teams, and successful and inspiring leadership. The free online learning is open to the public and can be accessed through Avado’s website.
Mark Creighton, CEO of Avado said, “Across the UK we’ve had to adapt quickly to the pandemic and it’s created new ways of working for all of us. In response to this, we’re releasing free learning modules to support people and companies to create real change. We’ve specifically selected these courses because more people than ever are being empowered to lead. Being equipped to adapt to change and lead in an agile way is going to be crucial for both current and future leaders, as we evolve organisations and working practices to respond to the new needs of our customers and employees”
The three free courses cover leading teams and individuals to success, change management and project management. Each course includes three, four-hour modules that provide a flexible learning experience aimed to drive real change.
Mark continued, “There’s a lot of uncertainty right now, but equally there is more space and time in which people can empower themselves with new skills and confidence. We hope these courses offer an opportunity to nurture new thinking and shift mindsets about how organisations could be led in a recovering economy that will have many new norms.”
Avado’s training is developed by expert product designers’ and with exclusive partnerships with brands and accrediting bodies including Google, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) and Tableau.
