We’re delighted to share that Avado is now part of Knovia Group.
Knovia is a growing group of specialist learning businesses, including Paragon Skills, Tempdent, Shaping Lives and Babington. Together, they help people develop their careers and help organisations build the skills they need for the future.
This is an exciting step for Avado. Below, we explain what stays the same, what this makes possible, and what happens next.
Avado will continue to be Avado
Our brand, our people and our specialist focus are what make Avado successful, and they are exactly why Knovia chose to invest in us. Your day-to-day experience with us stays the same:
- Learners: your programme, tutors, assessments and support continue as normal, and your qualification is unchanged.
- Clients: your account contacts and the service you receive from us stay the same.
- Partners: our commitments to you are unchanged, and you’ll keep working with the same people.
We remain a CIPD Platinum Centre, and we’ll keep doing what we do best: high-quality, flexible digital learning that has supported more than 60,000+ learners worldwide.
Why Knovia, and what this makes possible
Avado and Knovia bring highly complementary strengths. We bring digital learning expertise, professional qualifications and commercially funded training across the UK and Middle East. Knovia brings scale, deep employer relationships and apprenticeship expertise.
Together, that means:
- Support across a whole career: learners can progress from apprenticeships through to professional qualifications within one group.
- A broader offer for employers: access to a wider range of workforce development solutions from a single partner.
- Investment in what we do: the backing of a large specialist learning group to keep improving our programmes, digital platform and learner experience.
- New opportunities for our people: shared expertise, development and career pathways across the Group.
This is about growth. Knovia’s approach is to respect what works, invest in what matters, and give its businesses the platform to grow.
In their words
Alexis Regan, CEO of Avado, said:
“This is a proud moment for everyone at Avado. Knovia shares our belief in the power of learning to change careers, and they’ve been clear that they want to build on what makes Avado special, not change it. For our learners, clients and partners, it’s business as usual. For the future, it opens up exciting new possibilities, and we can’t wait to get started. Finally, thank you to Blenheim Chalcot for supporting us over the years as we built the business into the market leader it is today.”
Mark Botha, CEO of Knovia Group, said:
“Avado is a fantastic business with a strong brand, impressive people and an enviable reputation in professional learning. Our ambition is not to change what makes Avado successful. It is to invest behind it, combine our respective strengths and help the business achieve even more.”
