Amy leads the CIPD Level 3 and 5 programmes, here at Avado. Qualified to Level 7, a Chartered Member of the CIPD and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she has over a decade of HR experience across numerous sectors including education, charity, manufacturing, and professional sports. Known for her “human first” approach, Amy creates inclusive, supportive learning environments and has extensive experience teaching and mentoring learners at all levels. She brings a practical, learner-focused style and is dedicated to supporting students throughout their CIPD journey.
Amy Barker
Emily is an experienced HR and Learning leader with over 10 years in generalist HR and a further 10 years in CIPD qualifications. She specializes in change management, project delivery, and improving learning experiences for HR professionals. She holds a Master’s in Strategic HR Management and is also a Trustee for Citizens Advice SORT (Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford); Chair of the People Committee and supporting their digital transformation. At Avado, Emily leads the Learning and Delivery team, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Passionate about the HR profession as well as lifelong learning and process excellence, Emily is dedicated to empowering HR professionals and communities.
Emily Allen
Rim is a people-driven HR and L&D professional with over 14 years’ experience supporting others to grow and develop. She currently supports learners at Avado as a CIPD Tutor and brings a wealth of experience from across hospitality, education, and senior HR roles, including HR Director and Learning & Talent Manager. Rim holds CIPD Level 5, CELTA, and a Transformative Coaching Certificate, with continuous learning at the heart of her professional practice. She is passionate about building confidence and capability in others and creating positive, supportive learning experiences.
Rim Jamal Dib
Federica has over 10 years’ experience in education and a background in Communication and Journalism. She believes strongly in the power of learning to drive meaningful change and, as an Avado tutor, supports learners in building confidence, strengthening academic skills, and achieving their professional goals. Having completed the CIPD journey up to Level 7, she has a comprehensive understanding of CIPD requirements across units and levels, enabling her to clearly explain expectations and provide practical, focused guidance to support learner success.
Federica Grisanti
Our resident L&D expert, Michael has worked in L&D since 2013, with a strong passion for creating efficient and conducive learning environments. He holds a Level 5 Diploma in L&D alongside a coaching diploma and brings extensive experience as a professional tutor, coach, and mentor. With a background in operations, manufacturing, and L&D, Michael is able to draw on real-world work experience to enrich his teaching and support learners in their professional development. He transitioned into tutoring to share his passion for continuous learning, with a particular focus on improving work processes and aligning learning with organisational strategy.
Michael Ranft
Lynsey has diverse HR experience across wellbeing, employee relations, and L&D. Currently an HR Data and Insights Manager, she holds an MSc in HRM. Lynsey has implemented notable projects like the Mental Health First Aid Network and manager wellbeing training.
Lynsey Jones
Britt has over 20 years’ experience across the casino industry and both private and public sectors. She combines senior leadership in a highly regulated environment with strong strategic HR expertise, bringing commercial insight and credible people practice. Specialising in employee relations, organisational development, workforce planning, and policy implementation, Britt makes HR theory practical and accessible. Supportive and motivating, she creates learning environments where professionals build confidence, capability, and real-world impact.
